With all this hot weather we've been getting lately (and sadly no rain), we definitely need to be prepared for those days at the beach this summer. Luckily, this could not have been a more appropriate summer to make good use of the clearance on Victoria's Secret bikinis. So, without further ado, this week's "Wear-it Wednesday" is all about looking fab at the beach, check it out:
Being the young and naive girl I was back in high school, I rarely paid much attention to my apparel at the beach. I soon came to realize just how important every beach accessory really is. A lot of accessories for the beach seem really cutesie and unnecessary, but truth be told, all of it is much needed! For one, you definitely want a hat to protect your pretty little face from a gnarly burn, then you have to add in a pair of awesome shades to keep the sun from damaging your eyes (yes, that's a thing). If you're anything like me, and have a super fair complexion, you should consider grabbing a cute bathing suit cover-up, it'll keep you looking great, and also prevent you from getting any type of sand rash or sunburn. And to top it all off, upgrade that basic pair of flip-flops with something more upscale and casual at the same time. Let's face it, shoes bring a whole outfit together.
So there you have it, a super simple way of making your beach-style look like you just stepped out of a magazine. Oh, and don't forget to lather up with some SPF!
