I wanted to provide a photo of myself wearing some of the products I'm about to mention, but as I was trying to take a picture, it was storming like crazy outside and the lighting was just not working. But I'm on my way to the USA for some much needed shopping, so I guess that's cool right?
All of that aside, this week's Makeup Monday is all about some of my favourite products this summer. The products I'm about to mention are my current "holy grails" of makeup, especially with the hot and humid weather I've been dealing with lately. So, without further ado, let's jump right into it:
photo sources: sephora and kyliecostmetics
- Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation ($47CAD): This is the most beautiful foundation I have ever used. When applied with a damp Beauty Blender, this foundation sets beautifully into the skin and leaves you looking radiant and flawless. This is a medium/buildable coverage foundation and has a dewy finish.
- Becca x Jaclyn Hill Face Palette (sold out): This palette does everything. With a subtle to deep tan in the summer, these highlighters and blushes leave your skin looking sun-kissed. If you can find one of these at your local Sephora, be sure to get your hands on one.
- Lancome Blush Subtil ($42CAD): This blush is perfect for the summer, it's not too heavy, and if the right colour is chosen, gives your skin a beautiful touch of colour.
- Kylie Koko K Lipstick (sold out): I'm really feeling this colour since I received it in the mail. It's so lovely for pale skin tones, and it doesn't wash me out at all. Definitely the perfect pink.
- Modern Renaissance Palette ($55CAD): This palette is so perfect for the eyes, and it works for any season. The colours are so pigmented and super long-lasting, definitely worth the purchase.
There you have it, my summer must-haves for makeup! Get your hands on some of these while you can, I promise you won't regret it.
