My brushes have finally arrived from MyMakeupBrushSet! I'm so excited to use these tomorrow morning (which I will post a review on). I thought this topic however, would be appropriate enough to split into two.
So a few months ago, a close friend of mine ordered brushes from this site, and when she received them only a few days later, I had to see what they were like. I honestly found myself sitting in her room and stroking my face with one of the brushes for about 5 minutes straight. They are so soft. Anyways, I knew these had to go on my wish-list. Lo and behold, I finally caved and ordered these on June 22, and received them today, only 3 business days later.
My first impression of these bad boys is that they are as soft as a teddy bear. I'm so happy with how gentle these feel. I ordered the "Purple Tulip" set, which came with 24 brushes, and a case. The actual handle of the brushes are quite nice, they have a wooden grip with a metal base holding the bristles in (hopefully I won't have to pull the superglue out on these like I have with other brands). The case is a magenta faux leather material, it feels pretty well made, but I never use brush cases half the time. One of the best parts of these brushes for me however is the fact that they are advertised as cruelty free, and made of synthetic hair (score!).
Overall, I look forward to putting these to the test with my makeup, and I can't wait to share the final results tomorrow! Keep posted for more to come.
